NedSense enterprises n.v. (NYSE Euronext Amsterdam: NEDSE) announces today that it has inked a contract with Timzo Tufting Industry (NL) for its newly launched virtual sampling application iTex. |

iTex is part of the NedGraphics suite of products and offers companies the ability to present their collection to their customers on an iPad. The virtual samples can be categorized and by a simple tap on the image, it is possible to change its colorways. Apart from a cost reduction in sampling books and collections, the carpet and weave industry can share individual products and/or the full collection with their clients instantly in the format, colorways and yarn at a ‘swipe’. This way the sales agents always travel with a full up-to-date portfolio at very limited cost, whilst offering their customers a ‘real to life’ experience in terms of visibility. |
Jan Bakker, responsible for product development at Timzo, NL states: “For us, as an innovative company, it is very important to stay at the forefront of technology developments. With iTex we can offer our clients an experience which is instant, to their choice and real to the eye. Moreover this solution increases our internal efficiency by saving us costs and time as this simulation element speeds up our sales process in true dialogue with our customers”. |
Based on the widely used printing, tufting, weaving and knitting platforms, NedGraphics software is utilized by today’s leading retailers, apparel brands and home fashion companies. |
